Guidance in choosing Herbal Solutions:
If you would like guidance with your choice and use of our Herbal Solutions, we will be happy to help. Please complete the Horse Health Support Service Questionnaire and submit it on line or fill out the printer friendly version and mail it to us at: For Love of the Horse, P.O. Box 266, Lathrop, MO 64465.
We will carefully review the information you send to us and contact you within a week with our recommendation or, if need be, more questions. All questionnaires will be considered on a first come, first serve basis with the exception of emergencies which will, of necessity, take precedence.

Blood Evaluations & Blood Panel Analysis & Interpretation by Dr. Thomas
The following blood panel evaluations services are only available for horses with Equine Metabolic Syndrome or Malabsorption Syndrome.
Description of Service:
Dr. Thomas will review and evaluate your horse’s Blood Panels to assess and recommend an herbal solution protocol. You will receive his recommendation but no analysis or interpretation will be included.
To choose this Service:
Submit a profile and history on your horse by completing the Horse Health Support Service Questionnaire or print the form and send in via fax along with your horse’s blood panels to 816-635-9981. The blood panels that Dr. Thomas requires for an accurate blood panel evaluation are specific and differ from many of the blood panels conventionally used for horses with this metabolic syndrome. Description of Service:
Dr. Thomas will evaluate your horse’s Follow-up Blood Panels and compare them with your horse’s initial Base Line Blood Evaluation to recommend any changes to the herbal protocol that may be indicated.

Our coordinators will prepare an evaluation of your horse's recovery process and herbal protocol for Dr. Thomas to review along with the blood panels. Description of Service:
Dr. Thomas will analyze your horse’s Blood Panels and provide you with a written Blood Analysis and Interpretation as well as recommend an appropriate Herbal Solution protocol for your horse.
To choose this Service:
Submit your horse’s Blood Panel information along with a profile and history by filling out a Horse Health Support Service Questionnaire and check "Analysis & Interpretation” at the end of the questionnaire. You may also print the form and send in via fax along with your horse’s blood panels to 816-635-9981.
If we already have your horse’s profile and history on file, simply call 866-537-7336 or email us and request an Analysis & Interpretation and arrange to submit your horse’s blood panels.
Research & Formulation for a Custom Herbal Solution by Dr. Thomas
Description of Service:
Custom Formulas require in-depth work by Dr. Thomas. This means that he will only accept the work of creating a custom formula for your horse if he feels that your horse requires it for recovery and that a Custom Solution is likely to be effective. If he accepts your horse as appropriate for a Custom Formula, he will prioritize this work so that you receive your Custom Herbal Solution in as timely a manner as possible. For this service Dr. Thomas charges $200.00 per hour. Although he is usually able to create a Custom Formula within this time period, some cases require lengthy research and an additional charge may be applied.
